45 library

Of the approximately 800 miles of wall that divides the United States of America from the United Mexican States, 300 miles of steel anti-vehicle barriers are in place. The current regime has actively been replacing those barriers with steel walls that would create more pronounced divisions. While the current regime may not be able to fulfill this campaign promise completely, we propose the removal of the 300 miles of vehicle barrier to construct the 45th Presidential Library — a steel megastructure composed of 198,000 8' long barrier units. Because the leader of the regime has said about reading books,  “I don’t have the time”, the library will not house any actual books. However, the building is a partial documentation, and a repository, of the symbol of xenophobia represented by the steel structure collected from the borderlands.  An apt account of 45’s greatest aspirations for this country.
