The library design address issues pertaining to digital media and dissemination, access and exclusion, entertainment and information, monuments and history. Built in a remote location in the Midwest, the structure is a black cube that projects the 45th president’s library of twitter feeds on a 24/7 basis. Visitors may catch glimpses/reflection of themselves through the project text, but the reflection of the sun (or moon) against the mirrors transforms the structure into a beacon of light playing between the readability of text and the reflection of the surroundings. Bleacher seating surround the structure/monument for visitors to observe, absorb and celebrate past tweets. Entrance to the library is limited to a single door opening. Inside visitors are greeted by walls and halls of computer servers. Visitors can choose twitter feeds from select times and dates during the presidency to project on the outside walls of the structure. In addition, the walls of the structure is made of one-way mirrors viewed from the inside out.
